Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Message Board  

I have read all the troubleshooting guides as well as the forum postings and I as of yet have been able to fix this.
Started with Origins Dragon Age Awakening Ultimate Edition, NONE of the trianers would run with game, all crashed within 10 secs of hitting continue or load game.
Uninstalled that version and installed my disk versions of both games, again no trainer found in either section will work without crashing game. I have disabled my AV, I work as admin on my desktop and i have the UAC turned off.
I was able to play the straight version of DAO version 1.04 with that trianer, as soon as I upgraded to the 1.05 which fixes the DLC authorization problem, since I have yet to be able to get the game running with any of the trainers
I have tried trainers 1,2,3 on the DAO site and 1 on the DAOE site. Any suggestions????

Edit, I have now tried EVERY DAO trainer, and they all crash the game. I have no other game doing this, I have tried
patch#5 for the DAO...ue, Tried DAO retail DVD both 1.04 and 1.05, both crash,I do not have IE10 installed I never allowed it to install, The dll file that has been pointed to cause the crashes,is version 9. I have disabled MSE completely, Reinstall both the DAO-UE and the original DVD versions with all the DLC. scanned my system with both antivirus, antispam, and diskcheck. Both of the games run fine until I try to start id then the game. as soon as I hit F1, then continue, it crashes withg this message

I have the same problem.

OK can you get your product code off Origin and input it into steam. As the Dragon Age Origins - Mega Trainer (Patch #5 STEAMD2D) in this page -> (Link) works with everything in the Ultimate Edition.

I'm getting trainer crash when I try the above link?
Anyone know if theres any trainers working on dragon age ultimate on steam on window 8

I can only say try the first one on this page. (Link).

Remember turn off or tell all your security to ignore the trainer. Run Steam and the trainer in admin mode. Hopefully that will help. But since you are using Win 8. I can not say this could help other than offer it as advice. I hope it does help tho.

The cheats come on when i press f1 Can activate the stuff with the sound at the background say its on or off nothing happens some time it crashes???
