does the trainer still work ?

No in my opinion because 22cans did change the variables. They were postet for everyone to see in the Steam Forums.

In my case, the game crashes after starting the trainer (F1) and then trying to sculpt the ground.

While we are waiting on a working trainer I'll just mention that the values for belief and gems are 4 bytes stored as exact values in the clear. Little more work than the trainer, and your people still die, but gets us over the hump anyway.

are they stored in local game files?

You can manipulate them with a tool like CoSMOS

My Gems/Beliefs are over 1000.. So it's written with a 'k'. Like 23k, 134k, 52k... I can't know what are the 3 digits to the right. Searching only the visible number like '67' from 67k will give you loads of searched addresses... Editing them all would cause crashes.. How?

grr, i had steam in offline mode, but had to go online to download a new game, i wasnt able to change update properties for godus while in offline mode either. I really wanted to try out the health option too.

Im trying to run this ingame but It locks up alot. As well as that the triner isn't workign for me... I activate people dont die and people die. I try adding belief and nothing happens I don't think the trainer is working at all...
