    My copy of Outlast works fine. I'm enjoying the heck out of it, I'm sorry for your problem, though.

    I've seen maybe 3 posts where people couldn't get it to work, so yeah, you are exaggerating a tad bit. Sorry it doesn't work for you. It works perfect for me.

    I found an answer that works here it is:
    Go to control panel and then programs and features look for microsoft visual c++ 2010 and delete both 64 and 86 then go back to common redist then vcredist then 2010 then install the largest file which is V64 then run outlast and everything should work just fine.
    I don't know which forum you are looking at but the one I am in is on the Steam site and there is already 158 posts for this problem.
    Since I did this suggestion the game is running fine at max settings.

    try launching the game using exe file in the win64 folder
