Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate Trainer

Just tried this today and like many others, the game crashes after selecting a stage to play. The latest trainer is for patch 10.01.2013, but the latest patch for Steam was in April 2014 (according to steamdb.info/app/243780/history/). Is there going to be an update for the trainer or are we all out of luck?

I've downloaded the game and tested the trainer Patch 10/01/13 and it still works.

The trainer ONLY works IF you activate it AFTER you get to the level selection screen.... DO NOT ACTIVATE the trainer at the main menu IT WILL CRASH otherwise...
