So are they working on a fix for these crashes? Does anyone know anything?
THERE IS NOTHING TO FIX. THE TRAINER WORKS JUST LIKE IT ALWAYS DID. PRESS F7 BEFORE DOING ANYTHING OR ATTACKING ANYTHING.
keep in mind ALSO that the game moved to 2.0 version and many code changes internally. some crashes are likely going on due to the craptastic developers who update this game 1000 times due to all the bugs and problems in it.
best,
Cal
I dis-agree that the Trainer is working fine. I even Un-installed and re-installed the game from fresh when using the Trainer, one is not able to use Spies or Champs. Without the Trainer it works fine. The mods are not the problem either. Other than that, yes the Trainer works fine. It gets to the point to use the Trainer, position by Spies and Champs, exit, then start without the Trainer then proceed.
And I disagree with your opinion. All the options work for me including the spies and champs. Only time I've had a crash is when I forgot to use the F7 key to turn off all options at the end of a turn. If in doubt, read and follow all the trainer instructions.

I decided to test this out about two minutes ago.
I used a dignitary to hit a settlement and an army. Which I didn't have any issues with doing so with the unlimited movement option (Num 2) on. Taking in mind the options that she could choose between using on the settlement were still the same before the new patch to emperor edition.
I then used the Champion and the Spy with (Num 2) option turned on which showed up a different set of options now, letting me pick which units to do damage on and also other options. This all looked new to me since this latest patch of emperor edition.
Well when I used both of these agents, the game closed down and took me to the desktop straight away with no error showing or anything.
However, when I then loaded the game up again, I turned the trainer on and pressed the (Num 2) again but stopped the agent before actually committing to the action on the settlement/army. Then I turned the (Num 2) off and then hit the army/settlement and it all went smoothly with no shutdown of the game.
Technically this issue can be avoided by just turning the
(Num 2) option off before each agent action.
The only negative is that its just a little bit of an inconvenience
Other than that, this trainer is working Great
