Personally Rome 2 is not worth the money buying. Go and buy Shogun 2 much better more stable and not how to put it lightly. So up that even playing with would be more fun.
I find Rome 2 an enjoyable experience (after the initial patch rush that fixed stuff). I actually like Rome 2 better than Shogun 2...partially because the Rome 2 trainer works much smoother than Shogun 2's. I will admit that I haven't really had any of the issues that a lot of people are complaining about. I did have the random CTD and relative instability with the initial release version, but after they fixed that, I haven't had much "game-breaking" trouble (though the patch that got rid of the slinger stacks was nice). I've been able to run it on the highest settings across the board with no trouble...I never really even had the 1+ minute turn problems on max settings...
I dunno, maybe I have a really good PC setup or just stupid good luck. Either way, I haven't found the game to be nearly as bad as people continue to whine that it is. Sure some of the game's mechanics were a bit unbalanced (slinger stacks and Rome faction dominance), but nothing beyond the initial CTD/instability was "game-breaking"...maybe annoying, but not as big a deal as people are saying... But hey, that's just me and I have been known to be wrong...once or twice...
try 10 minutes before you posted that.
hahaha you changed the time-stamp didn't you
