i'll make a new thread on how to fix it for steam users

I'm on Win7x64 and disabled the AV. Tried every single trainer and all of them crashes when trying to start a game in the menu except only the 01.06.2011 trainer crashes when authenticating. I bought the retail UK version off the internet. I guess I'll have to buy the Steam version and try it out.

I'm on Windows 8.1 and have the game on Steam, the last version of trainer (DEAD RISING 2 ULTIMATE TRAINER (RET+DIG 07.04.2011)) don't work, the game crash after activated it at the loading of a savegame, what can I do ?

As I think was mentioned in some other post regarding this game Capcom updated the Steam version and CH made a trainer (The current latest one.) which was then updated for IE10 / Win8 compatibility.

However Capcom retracted that update a while after it was released so you need the previous trainer and that is not compatible with Win8 / IE10 so you either have to use a Cheat-Engine table or some other trainer although I do not know if there are any that were updated for the patched version.

EDIT: Or was that for the remake / updated version? I can't fully remember since it's been a while since I played either of the Dead Rising 2 games.


Unfortunately I don't think Capcom has any plans on patching their old LIVE games either as many other developer studios have done and switch to full Steamworks though Dead Rising 3 should be fully Steamworks driven when it's released.
(Though apparently the game isn't as good as the earlier ones but I have not played it myself so it's just what I've read.)

So what can I do ?
I don't know how to make a or using Cheat-Engine.
Can someone create a new one that works with the current version of Steam with Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11?
