I hope the new voice actor can bring something like Michael Ironsides presence did to Sam Fisher but with a youthfull attitude and vigour, but at the same time bring something new to the table.
The game looks great but im more interested if they went a little more oldschool and went back to the earlier splinter cell games with the stealth aspect or atleast give us a choice between stealth or on there panther mode of playing SC, a good mix would be healthy and they brought back spies vs mercenary's .
I preordered the steam version.I hope this is good also,60 bucks is a lot for a pc game. If you read the credits on a major game release you can see why they charge so much, they usually have more people involved in the making of the games than a major motion picture. That and we have to pay for all the losses due to piracy! I'm sure CH will have a great trainer for this one and I will wait patiently for it.
I preordered the deluxe edition. Devs said that Ironside was pulled from the series because the voice actor has to do all the mocap as well and he is (obviously) to old for that. He's still an instructive advisor for the new guy though. I just hope they put more efford into the pc adaption this time. Conviction still runs with crappy 25fps slowdowns on my machine.

Ironside said this new guy was very good and that he made no mistake in becoming an actor. I'm sure that he will be awesome
Naaa, i kinda Like the Ironside Voice for Sam, but unfortunately he is not the voice of Sam in this sequel, But the over All performance and Acting and Graphics and Gameplay and AI and story and Mods and control... I believe this game has overtaken all that lack and convert it into awesome franchise!
9.5/10 cheers!
Nice thanks for the semi review of it, and good to hear it is not a cluster f. with out Ironside.
