XCOM: Enemy Unknown Message Board  

having a bit of a problem figuring out what version I have, tried the latest trainer it activates but doesnt work or crash so I think I may have the wrong version but to simplify this how do I figure it out? is there somewhere or some file that shows me the version?

if your on steam you should be using the latest Trainer or Editior and really the same for retail as you should be keeping your games up to date.

But to help your issue. Find where your steam folder is and follow below if you have installed xcom in steam.

Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\Binaries\Win32

In there find the XComGame.exe then right Click on it and click on the Details Tab and you should have something like this shown in the link below.

thank you servius! I got the right version now I just have to get it to work hmmm

I have it running as admin from my desktop it activates but when I use the numpad I hear activated but nothing happens when I try to do the health or anything in the trainer at all, Somethings wrong and I can't figure it out. anyone got any ideas? thx in advance

You will also need to tell your Security programs to ignore the trainer or turn them off completely! While running steam in Admin mode.

thx, I actually put both trainers in the steam directory and they suddenly worked! wasn't used to that lol
