What happened to the **** steam pulled and made our trainers useless? And that little program u had to run so the trainer works, Is that over? On all games? Or just the new.
Sorry if this has been discussed, but i cant find where. i cant even get to the forum (if there is one)
so whats the deal there...
btw both the editor and the trainer contains the trainer. not the editor.

You're very funny with your misconceptions.
Editor and Trainer are two completely different things.
And Editor is EDITOR, not trainer. Oh, I'm sorry. It didn't work? Clearly, you didn't read F.A.Q.
However, no. Steam Guard don't apply to BL2 because that game is not part of Valve and you clearly didn't google the questions...
Lemme put this in your head. BL2 Creators don't give a single **** if you hack or cheat or whatever you do to the game. Just their warning "But it may ruin the fun of yours or other players'."
And that's it. We all are allowed to cheat/hack/modify/everything on BL and BL2.

Thankyou for educating poor little me. Im only an MD but ur right, i didnt google it.
sorry man, thnx for the help
Thants cool if they let us mod b2 single player. just hope someone have the energy to put together a willowtree editor sometime.
But what about other games? is the **** over or do we still need the "steam compability mod" -app? 🤔

I felt like I had to say this, you mean VAC, not Steam Guard. Steam Guard is a system Valve made to protect your Steam account which basically sends a email to you when you sign in from a new CPU. VAC is the anticheat measure that is supposed to ban you from playing multiplayer games if you get caught.
Games not a part of Valve can also get VAC-enabled servers such as COD:MW2 and Dead Island.
One of the things BL2 devs cared about was when people changed the profile info and gave themselves 255 Golden Keys from a loophole that they patched almost a year ago. They didn't ban the people who did the edit but they warned against it if I read the story correctly.
SP and MP are the same. You edit the SP and it carries over to MP since it's just Co-op.
There is a gibbed editor for BL2.
Also, Steam fixed the problem the same day it was found out. You don't need the extra addon to run the trainers.

My bad, i realise now that steam guard is completely different thing. As you guessed i meant the added protection (bug?) thatt made trainers useless. So thank you for that last row. now i dont have to hassle with that extra program anymore.
And small notice... i didnt mean MP, i ment MD (medicine doctor). But nevermind
PS: The MD thing was ment to be charming, im not bragging.
