The trainer crashes after start up. I have the patch #5 trainer.

Not compatible with IE10 or Windows 8.

uninstall IE10

I don't think that's the trainer why youre GTA crashes. Because i have the same problem on my GTA 4. Even when i don't use the trainer.

Is it maybe possible that the latest graphics card update is the problem?

while version 1.0.7.0 trainer works fine. All version of 1.0.4.0 refused to work. I've tried disable Norton 360 completely. Redownload with firefox also IE. All my atempts have failed.
I've no clue why and I've never had issue with trainer crashing before start before.Very rare certain function cause crashes to game but generally Chris put a note for such function that it may fail if not used right.
If any of you guys have a clue please share.

I've found the solution. Like PWizard said you have to uninstall IE ver 10. Problem is not the downloaded file being corrupted but Microsoft IE will not comply with trainer. All Chris' trainer forces internet open now. Even if you have offline key.
Instruction for win7.
Start>Control Panel> Choose Install/uninstall program> at search bar top right corner type Internet Explorer 10> select and finally click uninstall
PS Why Rocket Star wont release GTA 5 out on PC now? They are ****ed at Microsoft for making multiple screw ups. Hint 8 times at least in recent year

I uninstalled IE 10 and it still won't even download. I used IE 9 and Firefox, but no go. So I got a trainer from somewhere else and it works.

This is the only trainer I have ever had problems with.
