The latest trainer for Civ 5 BNW no longer adds gold. No error, just doesn't show up. :-(
sigh.. so I downloaded the trainer from here, tested it on legit steam version of the game
and it works 100%
best,
Cal
I try to run it and it wont even run with F1.
I look at my steam local files for civ 5 and it says I have buildID 473626 with all DLCs.
I'll keep trying but I think it updated...
main menu says 1.0.3.279....im a bit confused.

Just downloaded the latest version of the trainer and have the game running. It acknowledge it activated the trainer and found the game.
You can see from this linkie, which trainer is being used also which DX version of the game is being used. Linkie
You can see from this linkie, the version of the fresh clean install of the game. Linkie
You can see from this linkie, there is no mods installed which could posibly interfer with the trainers action. Linkie
Trainer options tested are the following Unlimited Movement, Build Unit 1 Turn, Build Building 1 Turn, Research 1 Turn. These options are working fine. Not tested other options as not using them at this stage.
ya, I get that its correct and working. must be something wrong with my install. Ill uninstall and add a fresh version of the game then try again.
-update
uninstalled, removed all civ 5 config files, redownloaded and installed. no change.
DX9 and DX 11, both when I press F1 just spam looking and then back to press F1. No ack that the game is running. im on windows 8.1 and the game is version 1.0.3.279.
Only thing I can think of is the game is running on my normal account and the trainer always runs as my admin account....maybe thats causing the issue? maybe the trainer is looking for the game running under my admin account?
to test: change user to add, will be back in a bit with update.

- update 2
wtf, that was the issue.
can we get a trainer that does not force run as admin?
[Edited by dghfjghjk, 2/20/2015 8:55:14 AM]
Sadly no. It is better to set steam and trainers to run as Admin.
