Civilization 5: Brave New World Message Board  

You will need to purchase Brave New world for the trainer to run mate. Gold Edition does not have it on it.

But you might want to try the Gods and Kings trainer. Since Gold Edition has that on it. You can find the Gods and King trainers via this Linkie.

got the dlc off steam yes I confirmed it to be brave new world and I tired to activate it during game play. could it be my retail copy of the original game, mind you I did discovered steam when I installed because it made me install steam before hand.

Running latest version of Civ5 with BraveNewWorld trainer finds game, and you hear the 'activated' and such, but nothing seems to actually work, buildings still take max time to build and so on..

?

just tested the trainer with random settings, and it works perfectly.

are you trying to use it with the scenarios?, if so, latest trainer only works on the civil war map

I have been playing a custom game on Civ V BnW and it works fine.

im still having problems with my trainer. Its the same problem that I posted on page 22. I tried ever thing caliber told to do I made shure it was brave new world dlc and that I got it off steam. what strange is that before I run the game when I press f1 it says game not found but when I press f1 in game I get no sound jest a quick glimpse of the game not found text on the trainer. So I deleted the trainer and down loaded a new one same thing tried deactivating the g&k dlc that didn't work. tried the norm civ 5 and g&k trainers ran the steam compatibility tool dident work. tried activating the trainer during game play instead of the main menu nothing worked

buy the game on steam. make sure it is BRAVE NEW WORLD. run the trainer, run the game. wait until at main menu (or even better wait until you are in the actual game), alt tab out and press F1 to activate trainer. boom it works.

if you try to use this trainer on ANY OTHER VERSION OF CIV 5, like GODS AND KINGS, etc. it wont work.

if you followed the instructions I just wrote and it doesn't work, then likely something is blocking the trainer or you simply have no idea what we are saying to you.
