And in case you're questioning Spain's luck, here are some quick info:
- In Euro 2008, they qualified Vs. Italy via Penalty shootouts to qualify and win against Germany 1-0 and that goal was scored because Lahm made a mistake, of course every player makes mistakes but for a player like Lahm to make this mistake is something annoying.
- In World Cup 2010, in the final Vs. Netherlands Robben wasted some really really dangerous opportunities where he was one on one with Casillas but his known bad luck prevented him and his team from the deserving victory.
- In Euro 2012, in the Semi-Final they qualified Vs. Portugal via Penalty shootouts
- In 2013 Confed. Cup, in the Semi-final Vs. Italy, they won via Penalty shootouts and the whole world saw the opportunities Italy wasted.
Anyone noticed the the word "Penalty Shootouts" feels kinda repetitive?

It's like the opposite of England in that our players can't take penalties to save their life.
