After plenty of rewritten parts of the game and thousand of updates the developers have started to change the resources in a way that I'm not able to locate of how they are being stored now. My guess as this is a free to play game, they simple prevents you from modifying it (by using an encryption or anything similar) to force you to use the ingame shop.

However the game is retired.
