Trainer is designed to work through patches. Email Caliber if this is not the case.

None of the cheats seem to work at all. They all say "Trainer cannot find game," wait a few seconds, and then say "activated" but have no effect whatsoever.

Except for turning Float mode on, which makes it so you can't jump.

I can't seem to find Caliber's profile or email. I don't mind PMing him. I'd love to see this fixed because right now what should be an awesome trainer does nothing at all.

Edit: Strike that. Found Caliber. PMed. Crossing fingers for update to make the trainer work!

Edit 2: Well Cal said it's working for him, and had a very convincing youtube video to prove it. Not really sure why several of us here on the board are having it fail to work, whereas Cal is not, then.

Edit 3! A small breakthrough. Infinite mana seems to work. That's nice, at least. Still not sure why nothing else works.

So I am definitely not claiming that it isn't working for you, or that it's not updated. I even looked at the video and ran the game in full screen just in case that helped....Still having the same issues, i.e. personally only infinite mana and levitation works for me.

Running it on steam and it's located on my D: drive rather than my C: drive. Running trainer first, then the game in fullscreen, pressing f1 in main menu, getting into the dungeon, pausing game, activating, same issues as my previous post.

I realize that it may be functioning perfectly well for some, or even MOST people, but it isn't for some of us....And frankly the guy that you told me to PM basically said "Well if you have a legal copy this should work" and I dunno, that's a bit uncalled for.

If what you mean is "We can't fix it if it's working for us" then I understand, but maybe you can help us understand what it COULD be?

I also run it on a Windows 7 operating system if that does anything.

Same boat, only mana and floating works for me as well. Just picked this up on steam because its on sale for 40% off this weekend.

Interestingly, my Rogue Legacy is also on an alternate drive. Could that be the common thread? I tried running the RL trainer from that drive with no change, just in case the question come s up.

It does seem that infinite Mana works for me, as does levitate inasmuch as it stops movement of my character while in the air.

Yes, I most definitely have a legal copy of the game, as well, though it was not implied that I do not. I was simply told never to contact them on that subject again.

I am also using RL on a 64-bit system, on a multiple-monitor setup, and on Windows 8, just in case. Maybe working together we users can get to the bottom of this.

Further symptoms: The trainer goes black, except for the ad, between "trainer cannot find game" and "activated," and it still "activates" even when the game isn't actually on.

For what it is worth, I was getting the "only mana and float works omg" symtoms. I looked at the youtube video displaying the fact that the trainer worked, and decided that there HAD to be something I was missing.

I ran the trainer, then clicked the trainer instructions panel. The usual .txt opened in notepad, and I read through every line... and noticed something different. There was a HUGE BLOCK OF ALL CAP TEXT between the options and the full option description. This must be important, I thought to myself, so I read it

Extra steps! That is what I was missing. Every other trainer I have used from this site in the 6 years I have been a member have been the same. F1 > numpad > numpad > numpad > joy! This one was slightly different, which you will all see when you read the instructions.

I can see why people are making the mistake, simply because the trainers are so good they just always work with minimal fuss.

Thank you to the trainer creators, for the hours of effort you invest to make our games more fun. I learned that I don't automatically know how to use the trainer just because I have used others like it.
