Seconding this; any plans for a Steam edition?

Thanks for all the hard work, PWiz.

By the way the trainer works, I would need to have access to the steam version in order to make a compatible trainer version, an executable only wouldn't work. Therefore chances are not very good.

Here's something I found out about the new patch...

If you max out all your stats to 10, save, quit your game and restart... The scouting skill will go into the negative range. Mine went from a base of 10 to a -12.

Current trainer seems to work for steam version on beginning map/level with no problems. It only becomes unstable on the second map/level and causes the game to drop back to the desktop. Don't know if it's still unstable beyond that.

I would a savegame file to investigate this issue.

When loading a game, the scout stat is determined by subtracting from the max (legit) points you are allowed to distribute. In other words, cheating in more points for abilities will push your Scouting stat further and further down. This was done to allow players to utilize their pre-patch saves.

Personally, I got around this by using the 'Pointer Scan' method in CoSMOS, so that I can edit the Scout stat back up after each loaded game.

May I ask what version of game you have and where did you bought it? I've tested the trainer few days ago and couldn't find any reported bug on the original GOG version of the game. But I'm still on the first island or whatever it is called, do the problems appear later on?
