Netflix is releasing the first batch of the next season of Arrested Development on Sunday. Or was it last Sunday? Anyway, Arrested Development.
It's this Sunday, the 26th. I don't have a Netflix account. I need to bum one off one of my friends for the week just so I can watch that.
For now, I'm watching the American version of a show called the Inbetweeners. Pretty good show. The scripts for the American show are near exact copies from the British version, so I know everything that's about to happen, but still enjoyable.

The US Inbetweeners got a horrible reputation (like most American adaptations), but I thought it was good. I watched the first season of the UK version too, and they were both enjoyable. MTV puts out decent scripted shows every year, but cancel them after one season in lieu of shows like Teen Mom.
Yeah, that's what's so terrible about Mtv. A lot of their stuff has such potential, but they're all brutally killed one season in. Mission Hill met the same fate. One season of great humor and art style, and then nothing. The creators of the show had a 10 season plan prepared for it too. A general plan, at least.
Did you ever watch Hey Arnold on Nickalodeon back in the day? There was a sequel called The Patakis planned and pitched to Mtv a while back. The sequel was based around Helga's life once the kids got into high school. The plot, boiled down, was that Arnold moved to California to live with his parents and he and Helga were trying to deal with a long distance relationship at the age of 15. Basically, the original show with slightly more grown up problems and an even more lovable main character. At the time, however, another animated show was being pitched to Mtv that focused around a girl in her high school years, Daria.
I'd trade Daria for more Helga any day.
Watch the Venture Bros if you haven't seen them all already.
Yep I second that..the best, most intelligent and funny animated show produced........
the fifth season starts the first week in june....
