I found the saved game editor, which is awesome. Found some things and tweaked my characters how I wanted them. Hit file>save. Launched the game. When I go to boot up the game I get my old save file as if the work I did on the editor didn't count. I think there is something to do with the cloudsync feature. If I could, I would turn off the cloud. Anyone got an idea on what I should do?
*Update. Figured out how to disable cloud sync. You edits a hosts file in the windows/driver/etc folder. Now I can't figure out how to keep the game from overwriting and deleting edited saves when I try to load the game and it aborts the synch.

*Update. Nope nevermind. Didn't need to disable cloud sync. You have to do your save game editing or swapping while staring at the savegame file loadign screen on ff7. Then alt+ tab and move your files around or edit them. Once done, alt+tab back and load the save file.
