I play the other 2 version of this game. but never play this beta yet.. so any good?? same as those two??

Than question is that do you like Fallen Enchantress? The main difference between FE and FE:LH is you don't recruit champion over the map.

Instead in FE:LH there is fame system and you receive random champion base on fame level. You will receive total 9 champions from the fame system. Champion received at Fame level 3, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200 and 6400.

The random champions from the fame system has variety of levels. (lv1, lv3, lv5, lv7 and lv9.) From my understanding by poking around the xml file. Each time you reach fame level and receive free champion and there is a hidden number to allow you champion from certain level. I hope you can understand my explanation. For example if you pick 2 level 1 champion at fame level 3 and fame level 50, there is great chance you can pick lv 7 level champion show up on fame level 100. However if you have pick 2 lv3 champion2 in row, you will force to pick lv 1 champion.

It is complete random when you pick up Champions, however you can mod the xml file to lower the chance certain champion show up. I have mod the game to give me best chance to pick the champion I wanted.

Other than the 7 free champion, there are also 4 champions from the quest on the map and there is at least 1 champion from the random world event.

Another big difference is that now your Sovereign has skill tree and path. Once you pick to be warrior you are set as warrior entire egame. You also no longer randomly receive talent. You can't have all the class as well, unlike FE you can pick ever trait by level and using trainer. (I use to use trainer to drop my sovereign level to lv 4 than I can pick another path when I level to lv 5.)

is that all the big improvement are ?? I like the fallen enchasteness. but if this is all we can do then, I wont be buying this stupid after.... thank you for a reply...if I get it for free then I would love it.. I pay $40 for fallen Encts.. not gonna pay another $40 for the same game but fancy hero recruited...

If you already have FE, FELH is half of price. (19.99) It is steam only game thou even if you purchased from stardock you still enter your cdkey on steam.

There are some balance change and the skill reworked. For example warrior has skill that focus on axe, sword, spear. There are also new item be added such as dual axe. Assassin has skill that focus on bow. You probably want to check FE website for all the details. Armor system was changed. You need the talent to be able to wear chain mail and plate mail armor. In the FE anyone can wear plate mail as long as it has mount that support enough weight. (Weight is removed from the game.)

There is also scenarios (added at 0.90 beta build.) however I haven't play it.

2 new AI added. (one for empire and one for kingdom.)

Oh.. There is also new "huge" map size which is. (large map was the biggest you can pick.)

I like it so far specially since I am modding the heck of FELH.
