So I've bought Shades of Darkness and on Steam it clearly stated that it does include the main game Might & Magic Heroes 6. While I also bought Pirates and Danse ( both 9,99 Euro) and not Gold or Complete Edition, I was wondering if someone could explain why Complete Edition (and all its campaigns) are greyed out in the main menu.
I have gone through various Ubisoft and Steam forum posts and really couldn't get it, my four brain cells must be pre-occupied.
I've managed to activate the DLC easily with the Steam keys but why don't I have a key for the complete edition when I clearly purchased all of it. Someone familiar with that issue? Yea, it does say my game has the 2.1 update in the lower right corner.
Thanks!
Edit: Typo.

Steam Support may not only be more appropriate, but more useful to you I think.

Seeing I get a reply on this within minutes on here should answer your question. Ever tried Steam support? I have been a member on there for almost 4 years now and used it twice which was one time too often.
Thanks, though.

reading the store page for Shades of darkness, there's nothing that states Heroes 6 is includet, Shades is a 100% standalone from Heroes 6
that's how i read the store page anyway

Yea, it does state Might & Magic Heroes VI in the game library though. What does that imply? That this is Shades of Darkness? No, it is the main game, right? I'm just asking, this is no sarcastic remark!
Edit: And by clicking properties it says Shades of Darkness is DLC for Might and bla bla. That's why I am a little confused.

Edit2: It also says I already own Might and Magic Heroes VI when accessing the bundle page for the complete edition. Yea, Shades is stand alone but the game library calls it Might And Magic Heroes VI. Confusing, really but Steam's fault, it seems. I've paid 29,99 Euro for Shades, 19,98 Euro for the two DLC's, which is cheaper than the 49,99 for the complete Edition but by doing so it seems I do not have the main game nor the complete edition. Bravo.I should count sheep in the backyard instead, it's free.

lazyness from the devs?, i don't know, but Shogun 2, has the same model on steam, no matter if you got the main game, or just the stand alone, steam libary will still list it as Shogun 2.
if you ask me, its just clever marketing, to get you to buy the whole package

It is...and stupidity on my side. Should have bought the complete edition like i usually do. It's still a good game despite this.
Edit: Just for fun I tried purchasing MAH6. Steam only offers the purchase as a gift so it does seem that I do own the main game. Also read that Ubisoft is still having issues with Steam copies. I'll just wait, stuff like this always works out within a week or two.
