The game reads the old unpacked version of the saves NP, so you can unpack, edit, and load the edited savegame.

Try to request the gmae, removed my 50 points and no update...

I tried requesting it myself. I am not so sure about my lifetime membership anymore to be honest. Every game I look for a trainer anymore is outdated and there are no replies from the mods. I mean at least an explanation would be nice.

I know Eador MotBW changed the file structure of the savegames so the editor would be quite an endeavor. The way it was before you didn't even need the editor as you could sift through the save game file and change everything quite easily. The trainer though, why have they stopped updating? I mean it was a weak trainer to begin with with only two options but come on. This is happening more and more. When I actually see a reply from a mod, at times they have come across angry and crappy towards the posts they are replying to.

I realize things change as the website gains in users and workload.. This is why it costs money though right? I cannot imagine the decisions to stop updating certain trainers are arbitrary. Paying customers are asking for an update, why isn't that enough to warrant just that?

You cannot throw more money to limited developer resources to speed things up. I am not sure how your arrived at this conclusion.

If you still cannot be bothered to read the sticky then I'll condense it down:

TL-DR: There are better customers to serve if that's the general attitude to be had and developers will chase after that. It's not just here you'll find that attitude, you'll find it at any software company and even within the FOSS community (hell the FOSS community can afford to be extra harsh with their words).

I dont know about the attitude. Just a quick update from admins and its good. U guys never answer for like a month and now we are bad custumer? Why be so mean

I signed up to try the trainer for Eador. It would not run, no alert that it started. I know it has been mention about deleting IE.

I do not use IE, but deleting is a chancy task as it is part of win8.

So I figured to try the editor. It gets an error after I finally defeated my Norton. I said ok to ignore of the msg. Nothing and task manager shows no cpu usage.

I also got a popup saying a new version was available, but I do not see it. The editor says outdated.

I note that none of the trainers or the editor reflect the last patch, not real recent.

Is there anyway to get one or the other to work or did I just waste my time and money? Well maybe the money is not a waste as it goes to support the work here, but as I have no other game that I want a cheat for......

It would be helpful to post the exact error messages you got. Just to tell there was an error could mean everything.

If the trainer isn't running then something is blocking it. Disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. Right click run as admin on trainer.
