some side note about they releasing patches because of a trainer

I don't understand the last 22 updates, Im curious if they are updating based on the trainer being released?
On the relicnews site me and some other guys tested the way how the reliccoh2.exe acts on changes beeing made with any change, patches etc, it has to do with the fact that relic removed the -dev -mod option that modders used. The -dev acts as a bypass/switch, which allowed modding, and also bypasses the way reliccoh2.exe checks on any changes, as it was used already in coh1 by the way, so what we did was trying to bypass this removal of the -dev -mod, by making our own modded archives, and inject them in the game like any normal relic archive is doing, however when this was done the game started normally and after 5 seconds dropped back to desktop, no warnings nothing, next we tried, to modify the original archives directly, with same results, game drops back to desktop. with other words , reliccoh2.exe has a build in indexed database of some sort that checks on any changes, if the .exe is not updated "with the new patches" relic brings out, then the game drops to desktop, so every minor change they do with patches, they have to update the exe as well, all the time.
Of course this is based on test results, the way reliccoh2.exe "checks or tracks" any changes in the archives, is a assumption
of how relic could have done it.
So nope they don't bring out patches after seeing a new trainer is brought out ^^
