I'm at the first temple where you have to sneak past the bad guys and my problem is after I get this Russians gun I don't have enough time to aim and shoot him before he kills me. Is there a certain way to kill him? I can't find a way yet. please help, thank you.

also when I turn on the trainer it screws up my moving around in the game, anyone else having the same issue with trainer ver.1.00716.5?

For that part I didn't get to kill him but there was a QTE section where you eventually get the chance to shoot.

The trainer works fine for me. Movement no problem

thx for your reply, sadly it does not help me get through this part of the game. I guess I will put this one away for awhile and come back to it later, I have a lot of games where I am stuck somewhere in the game.

After you get the gun, you can shoot once but you wont kill him. Use the A & D keys when the arrows appear (to struggle)
then you'll have to mash E in order to get the gun into a headshot position then left click to shoot. For all actions you kinda have to time it correctly or you'll fail. May take a few run thrus to succeed but dont give up. This is an awesome game as a whole. As for your movement problem, are perhaps hitting the * or / key? Either one would mess up your movement. I played this game and loved but how can I not recall any of this first area?

As the game contained alot of movie sequences, you probably just forgot. This scene happens after Lara upgrades the axe, goes thru the door with Witman & gets caught by the solarii.
She then sneaks past a bunch of guys & hides in a hut where she gets caught by this russian guy with gun.

thx for your help, but I had to shelf the game for awhile. I just can't get past this part, I have been stuck at this part for 3 weeks now so I'm leaving it alone now before I throw it out the window lol lol
