The Patch #5 version of the steam trainer for Dragon Age Originscrashes upon bootup. I have a video below showing me download a brand new copy from the site and loading it up whilst it crashes upon being opened. I hope the video helps and if you need any additional information I would be glad to help.

Might be some sorta of security software I just downloaded it and tested it for myself and it ran fine...

Can't be, I allowed it through the firewalls and nothing is stopping it. I haven't installed any software since I last ran it. Strange.... Some of my other trainers are doing this as well.

Security Software includes Anti-virus and Anti-Spyware also.
Make sure your trainers are set to the exception list or store all your trainers in 1 folder and add that folder to the exception list.
Also if you recently installed IE10 there is a known problem with older trainers that use the old IE9 URLMON.DLL file. It will cause crashes.

Yes I know that. My folder is apart of the accepted group like it always has been.
Could you guys update the steam version at least. I can almost bet that it would work then.

I edited my last post while you typed yours, if you recently installed IE10 older trainers will crash, you can uninstall IE10 and revert back to IE9 and your trainers will work again.
IE10 is rubbish anyways :P

Well hot dog! It worked! =D Thanks man. CheatHappens should put the guide on how to uninstall IE10 on their main page with the title of why some trainers aren't working. Thats a good idea haha.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix it otherwise? I didn't upgrade to IE10 (since I refuse to use IE at all) and DAO's trainer still doesn't work. Same issue of crashing before the game even gets fully loaded.
