Dead Space 3 Message Board  

So I saw how awesome N7 armor looks. But it requires ME3 save file. I have ME2 but not ME3 sadly.

I don't have the money to go around to get ME3 yet, and probably won't be for quite some time, since ME3 isn't really on the top of my "to get" list.

So chat aside, here's what I tried.
I downloaded a ME3 save file, and created a phantom directory for ME3. aka My Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 3/Save/etc etc.

But sadly, nothing happened. So since nobody is asking this question. I'm gonna post this here, and see what other solution there is to get N7 armor without having to own ME3.

Does this not fall under "Warez"?

I don't think this falls on Warez, I've seen tons of saves across multiple platforms for years.

Did it say if unlocked at the Main Menu, if so did you get to the first Suit Kiosk? If you did and assuming it worked, it should be available in the list of choices.

I found this from EA:

PC Players, in much the same way, simply need to have purchased and be playing Dead Space 3 on the same Origin Account they played Mass Effect 3 on to gain the armor.

You will need a local_profile.sav file from mass effect 3.
located in
my documents\bioware\mass effect 3\save\

It's a complete ME3 folder, not just the save, delete anything you added, and place the folder into your My Documents folder and enjoy!
