Bummer, it's useless.

I have version 1.60 of Anodyne on Steam and found the best way to activate the trainer is to launch the game and enter the game where you can move your character, then Press F1, listen for the double activate as indicated in the info tab, then press 1 to activate God Mode. It wasnt working for me from the main menu, but after the above steps god mode works flawlessly
