Pops up for me. I have the hunter edition on origin.
I have the direct download Hunter edition from Origin running on windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.No key presses bring down the console for me.Don't know whats blocking it out on my machine.looks like I'm SOL.
Have you added "-devmode" to your shortcut? I have the Hunters version as a direct download from Origin as well and the "~" works regardless of devmode or not with mine. Although, with devmode, it actually accepts input for commands...without it the console was just the drop down. Also another thought...is your keyboard set to the "English (United States)- US"? I remember one of the games I was playing used the European/German style.

I am using a US keyboard.tryed the devmode still no console.I got the old Crysis game free with this and It won't show the console either using the con_restricted = 0 command in any of the config files.
