Mountain climbing on Dead Space 3 PC Message Board - Page 1

Hi All
I have hit a snag inside the mountain were you are climbing a rock face and you get to a gap and stop, no way round and falling rocks are pounding the head of you...

Any ideas???

If on a PC you need to press shift, and then go in the direction you want to make your character hop over gaps. That is when you are at the edge of a gap and next to some surface.

that stumped me too for a bit,
what you do is jump side to side across gaps
and stasis falling debris or obsticles

also sometimes u need to step away and then jump as the position detections a bit screwed on it sometimes ur do a second jump middle of the gaps
