I was wondering if the trainer's affected the AI as well. This seemed to be the case with the first version, but the feb 20th version doesn't seem as conclusive

The AI problem should be fixed, I've added a check. In case it doesn't let me know.

Works fine on Win8 with Kaspersky Antivirus 2013. You could exclude the folder where the trainer is within Norton?
