Do you use any mods for the game? Also, if you use GOG Galaxy, please check if the game version is actually matching the trainer version. It happens that Galaxy sometimes misses game updates but never notifies about it.

running basic game as downloaded with no mods. not using GOG galaxy

I've successfully tested the trainer with GOG version 1.4 build 1405 (you will find that build number on the logo screen before main menu).

Here are my steps:
- Started trainer
- Started game
- Started a new campaign or loaded a checkpoint
- Wait until loading is completed
- Pressed F1
- Trainer activated and all cheats are working

I have the same version of the game but I still cannot get the trainer to work. I followed your steps but I still got the same result. All the trainer says is "Error" when I try to activate it. error log states error in line 95. Object not found.

far cry trainer does not work i tried one on 13 april and 1st of may all i get when press f1 trainer cant find game its far cry 5 easy anti cheat stopping trainer and and any cheats

Easy-Anti-Cheat was not even around when this game was made, so it does not have that anti-cheat. Has to be another reason.
