I'm sure you will enjoy the game. I for one did not like the ending and thought Bioware royally screwed up but I still enjoyed the game, except for the ending of course

But overall a very good game and if you liked 1 and 2 you should enjoy most of if not all of 3. You have those on both sides that can be a tad extreme and hyper with their opinion of the game but make up your own mind

I would recommend the game itself. It's a good game. The ending, especially before the free patch, is pretty bad. Anyone who claims a person "doesn't understand" is just feeding the lie that the ending is "art". It's not. It's a poorly written plot that has had nothing to do with the rest of the series.

All the lead-ups about the Dark Energy? Yeah, nothing came of it.
Most of your decisions? Don't really matter because chances are you'll still get something similar.

This is what happens when the heart of the team is sent off to other projects and the boss decides to shut out the rest of the team for the ending so that even they can't give criticism (and one of the writers DID do so afterwards).

What do you mean by common sense to understand the ending of the game? While the ending wasn't what I expected I also didn't hate it. I do think it could have been handled a bit better though. Like maybe if players had a high enough EMS they could reject the star child and there would be just enough ships to wipe out the Reapers.

Personally I like the destroy Reapers ending the best. Plus, it was cool Bioware put out the extended cut afterward that showed the effects of player choices.

I kind of want to know what happened to everyone on the citadel. like Bailey, the rest of the council, and the refugees. I am hoping they put out a DLC that addresses that.

I think it is worth it. The game is pretty solid. You may or may not like the ending but that is just 1% of the game. The 99% is what really matters and is what is really fun.
