Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Message Board  

I tried to submit a cheat mod I put together that works with the current version (1.3.0014, Steam tested, theoretically should work with others). However, every time I submit the form on the "Submit Cheats" page it comes back with a 404 error. Is there a different way to submit a file?

FYI the mod features 3 new keybinds:

Press [ (left bracket)
Fills your stockpile with max # of everything you can have and gives you 5000 additional resources.

Press ] (right bracket)
Fills your carrier with max # of every item and enables all unit upgrades (boost/arctic/volcanic/etc).

Press \ (backslash)
Set all of your Mantas and Walruses to invincible. Will also try to make your currently active unit invincible (during campaign missions where you're forced to drive a vehicle).

The invincibility will reset each time you move to a new island or when a cutscene plays. Simply press the key again to re-enable invincibility.

After playing with crashing trainers I tried the patch02.zip file posted yesterday it does indeed work. If you have steam version 1.3.0014 unzip and put the file in steam/steamapps/common/Carrier Command Gaea Mission directory if you see the carrier.exe file in this directory then it is the correct one. I maxed out stockpile and carrier items. Didn't use the manta option as you can arm to the hilt and don't need invincibility mode. THANKS GREAT WORK REALLY RESTORED MY FAITH IN CHEAT HAPPENS AFTER YESTERDAYS DISAPPOINTMENT

I'm glad it's working for people. For the record, all of the cheats/features are actually already in the game script they just aren't used by anything ... the mod just uses hotkeys to expose their functions.

The invincible mantas/walruses is inspired by the "Invincible Mantas and Walrus (STEAM)" mod by ToxLaximus (but the old mods stopped working after they changed how files are loaded). The other features I tossed in there after messing around with the script.

FYI: I used the CarrierTools python script to unpack the data and repack/create the new patch file.

Observations regarding the cheat mod and news of next feature:

First the news. I'm finishing testing a new hotkey that "Instant Docks" all of your units. Again, this is actually built into the game (the campaign script does it often when it forces you into cinematics) but now you'll be able to recall all your vehicles at once whenever you want. I'll send in the updated mod tomorrow I think, still making sure everything works and nothing blows up.

Second, observations. It appears the "invincible manta/walrus" hotkey WILL make you invincible during FPS sequences. Just make sure to press the hotkey when you start out and after cutscenes. Your shield will go down, but your health will not change.

Also, I think the invincibility key will make your carrier invincible if you have it selected when you press it. I'm not 100% sure on this one yet though, I've not had much chance to test it out.

The "fill up carrier stock and give all upgrades" cheat does indeed give the upgrades so you can drive fine in mud/etc if you press it before launching your vehicles (or maybe it's before arriving at a new island). However, it seems if there is a cutscene the upgrade will be gone afterwards. Another thing I haven't tested much yet.

I am still looking through the scripts to see if there is a way to refill your vehicle/fps gun ammo but so far I haven't seen it. If anybody has any ideas for new features I'm open to suggestions but I'm not sure how much can be done via the scripting system.

Not sure whats up. I have the steam version that matches yours, but here's what i get,
\ fills carrier with everything. (not just what I have)
] fills stockpile with everything.
[ does not appear to do anything for me. my mantas/walrus' still take damage. I downloaded it on the 27th, around 1am

any ideas?
