Shogun 2: Total War Message Board  

Hi Guys,

Forgot how good this series of games are. Never had the time to get into it, and just re downloaded on my steam client. Any ideas of clans to start off a game with ( sort of a habitual easy difficulty player ) in advance

It should say when you overlook which clans which ones are the easiest, the easiest one is likely Shimazu. They start off on a island, much room to expand but easy to defend. Best katana samurai, easy access to most of the namban sea trading. Can't really go wrong with them but Hojo are also pretty easy, they have access to build cheap castles ideal for defensive players and can expand into rich territory.

I'd say the clan that reaches victory at the end are usually the best ones in the game!
