well i have had more than a few issues with this game first of the trainer when the voice says activated it was repeating its self activated deactivated activated deactivated activated deactivated the best way to fix this is delete the reg keys in the registry (ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING)
then the game was crshing i updated all my drivers etc the game still would not load then i realised that i had removed steam so i just reinstalled steam
i have not had any problems since

Why would steam be an issue with the trainer?
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA
