Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.02, Unlimited Mako Health, Unlimited He....

Just installed my Mass Effect Trilogy, checked game version, it does show 1.02. When I start the game and enable the trainer, dead crash. Redownloaded the trainer, hmmm, maybe steam, will try and post, but the DVD version of 1.02 trainer derinatly does not work with the Trilogy.

Should have known that EA would use the same connection tag that Seeam uses. Game runs and so far trainer is fine. To all who but the tryliogy, use the steam trainer for Mass Effcet 1

Thanks for posting this. I've tried the retail trainer several times on the Trilogy without success. Was about to give up when I found your post. Thanks again!

So, I bought and am currently playing MASS EFFECT 1 from the MASS EFFECT TRILOGY... It is now December 27. Your post was 11/29/2012...

Neither Trainer will make the Activated Sound when hitting the F1 key.

I think they updated the version.... this is not good.

i had to use the steam version as well still crashes but not straight away normally about 20 mins or so

I tried and buggered around a bit and found the trainers work if you don't run the game from origin, instead run it directly from origin games/mass effect/binaries/masseffect.exe - fixes crashes (for me at least) and anyone affected by the trainer not finding the game

That would make sense, the auto created shortcut has a command in it for the origin online, that may be what is stopping the confirmation of the trainer, by blocking it as an online cheat
