Race Driver: GRID Message Board  

I recently bought GRID through Steam
The game is good, but the cars are sometimes too slippery
I saw there was a trainer, and that is what helped me decide to buy the game
Only problem is, it does not work for the Steam version of the game
PWiz has mentioned in another discussion that there are no plans for a Steam trainer
This has left me feeling a bit let down
I got a good game that would be great with a trainer
Hopefully PWiz and Caliber will come up with something for GRID through Steam

I know this is late, but you could try getting the retail launcher and use that. I had to do that with Crysis 2 Maximum Edition and my trainer worked fine for that.

Is there still no plans to make a trainer for the Steam version ?

There will maybe be a chance for a trainer if you can provide them with the game and if they see they can set off the time for making it.


EDIT: Forget that I saw the game is Retired.

Just get a retail.exe for the Trainer, and it will run smoothly.

Except you have a 64 bit Windows 7 System like me.... there the Trainer will crash immediatly.

But if you rename the ai_driver_config.xml in the ai folder of your grid Installation, you could easily win every race with opponents...
