..."In a single game, complete every research project". Fun, Fun. First playthrough on easy (w/o trainer) I was rewarded with 3 "medals from the research department" meaning I got props for plasma, weapon technology etc.
Second playthrough I had 51 research projects done (classic, ironman with trainer) and it still didn't give me the darn achievement. does anyone know how many research projects you have to do in order to unlock this one? pls. tyvm.

I am on the temple assault right now, and earned the Edison achievement already. I will finish up and get back to you with the total since they say how many research projects you completed at the end. BRB
Edit: For anyone that is interested... there are 53 research projects. The two you are most likely missing come from shooting down a "battleship." They are Fusion Lance and Guided Fusion Launcher.

No worries, it gave me an excuse to tie up my last battle and earn two of my last achievements ("Our Finest Hour" and "Ain't No Cavalry Comin'." Now I only need "A Continental Fellow" to finish up all the achievements for single player. However, I think a few play-throughs is enough and I will let that one go... besides I use trainers... it is not like I really earned my achievements.

yea, i do use trainers for superhard games but frankly, i try not to use all options CH offers, it makes gaming sort of superfluous, ya know? I do use health and money options most of all. That's why I don't understand all these whiners asking for options like "make it jump, clap, spit fire and whatnot". Trainers are useful in tricky parts of the game and I do appreciate them in these kind of situations but if there aren't any trainers for a certain game it won't kill me. I have doubts for some other members here. Have a good one!

Zippo, have you gotten the fusion lance / fusion blaster techs? You can only get them from capturing a downed ufo battleship, and they show up pretty rarely on the lower difficulties
