Is this a case where the regular Tropico 4 trainer won't work for the "Steam Special Edition"?

The trainer for Tropico 4 works perfectly fine with the Steam version and Windows 8 x64.

I play it regularly on that exact configuration.

Please read what people are asking.. Does the Trainer work for the STEAM SPECIAL EDITION Version? a simple yes or no will do fine.
