Call of Duty: Black Ops II Message Board  

anyone else feel this way? story was okay, seemed super short though, didn't even use the trainer. and no dedicated servers? like really..

To be honest I have been waiting for a call of duty game where you can use multiplayer perks and weapons in the campaign so this has to be my favorite.

Personally this is my favourite single player campaign but the lack of dedicated servers make me regret buying it, so that was silly of me.

There are dedicated servers. Just not ones you rent. 3arc host all of the Dedi servers. When joining a lobby and entering a match, it places you onto a dedicated server.

BF has had COD beat in MP sence COD started doing the macth making crap. With no open servers theres realy not even a comp. I like the gamepley in COD better then BF but for MP I go with BF , and any more BF has better GP's.

I do not like this game. Why? Yeh, maybe stupid reason. Have You noticed? In Angola for instance ALL the enemies have the same very nice white shirt, all of them. In Afghanistan all the Soviets have the SAME cap, same uniform and the same gear, same AKs, ... Is it a joke?! Has anybody of You seen 9 Rota (russian movie for instance? All the soldiers on a battlefield do appear the same way?! Without any mud, blood signs or ... ?! Warfighter is more realistic for me, Battlefield Bad Company looks like a real war, not like this stupid show.

to be honest these "level up" FPS games lately are boring and annyoing me. the best cod games of all time where cod 2 followed by modern warfare (cause it was new) and what made them great was

detailed LONG stories
all weapons unlocked
predefined classes that were the same in EVERY SERVER
dedicated server (great for mods/scrims/clans)
no locking down dedicated servers. you could add any map/game mode you wanted.

even halo 4 being a fun spec ops mode barely holds my interest for more than 2 days in modern gaming. i got cod since i am a COD "fanboi" but i could not care less on it i mean ill play zombies till i get bored and the care case is cool for storage but thats it. already gave DLC codes away and tossed the garbage helicopter in the dumpster at work.

only exception to this and its a bummer it keeps crashing for me is battlefield but only because each class has a diffrent unique role ont he field and it holds so many players per game to make roles work. COD is just pray and spray vs lucky sniper (seriously where do bolt actions fit in these days?) and halo is well lets spray and hope to knock his shields down b4 mine go down. gears is melee ftw everything and ME3.. well yeah that fails for multiplayer FPS
