shell out a grand for a 'elite' computer so I can play the last missions of a game? I'm sorry but... but... WHAT?!

besides, computer's already got the specs to rival such a machine, custom built and rigged up the latest and greatest with multi high end graphics cards - Hardware is not the problem.

For anybody else brave enough to try to figure this 'Free does not match allocation' bug... Alt Tabbing doesn't work for some people like me it seems, game runs like a dream besides this damn thing. (tried the save game trick too but I've had no success unless its all about SKIPPING the entire sequence)

Anyone ever get this fixed? Tried all the tricks i found... lower graphics, change to window mode, alt tab, changed the clock, uninstall reinstall, start new game, updated drivers, reinstalled DX11... My specs should be fine, i7 24GB ram, GTX 680...

always crashing on rescue woods, right after we leave the boat and get to shore...

I have a same " free does not match allocation " message but later in the game when I want to get out of the interrogation room
not at the swim part. Looks like this is a random thing to annoy the heck out of us.

Was almost entertaining to read many good rig you guys have, was fun to try out all the tricks to make this game finish. No luck on my side and I do have a good set up on hardware too.

So who actually know the solution?

i haven't played this game in months because it kept crashing...still never beat it. I went to play it again today and it crashed at the exact same spot in Achilles Veil. There's not a lot going on when it crashes so it can't be overloading my GPU. I've re-installed the game and that doesn't work. Hopefully Ghosts isn't like this too.

having same problem at Cordis Dei mission.....humvee fips, screen goes black, but i still hear the humvee's engine going. gonna try restarting game. has anyone got a fix? i tried everything possible
