Ive ordered the digital deluxe editon, which contains the most digital extras, plus the season pass to all future DLC. I assume it wont matter which version people get, the exe will be the same. Though the only place i can get this version is from ubishop, id prefer steam, but steam only shows the normal verion, and you cant even preorder from them yet.Link

Even if you bought from steam, it would require you to log into the Ubiservers etc.
The same is true with AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations.
You can also get it for £5 cheaper at Gamersgate.

I am still debating whether to purchase a physical copy of the game or purchase it from Steam. I will most likely go with Steam but I am not sure yet.

I just wanted all the extra's from deluxe digital, it has non of the physical stuff like medalian, art book etc, but has 4 bonus single-player missions and the season pass for the upcoming 5 DLC's, still a bit pricey at over double the cost of the standard, but it has more content than any other version.

iv have play AC3 on ps3 and iv gotta say that a trainer will be very helpful.. i mean its not like you die and have to start the game over again or anythin. but it just **** me off that i have to keep doing the same thing over again when im doin the main quest once i die... oh and i kinda know what they will make in AC4 ( if there is any ) you listen to desmond friend talk to him about where he want to go next, then you know what i mean...10000 yrs back in time lol
I tell you later

You mean Shaun? lol.... it's a bit more than 10000 years bro... he was talking about going back to the first civ and Desmond's origin ancestors (Adam and Eve etc)
And I seriously doubt that it'll happen, and that's all I'm saying on that topic.
I do hope there's more in the series, and it would be interesting to see which historical events/periods they will explore. Personally I'd like to see ancient Egypt and feudal Japan during the Onin War or Edo periods explored, maybe even ancient China.

Looks like we can now pre-purchase both the regular and digital deluxe editions of ACIII on Steam now.
