What is the quickest way to get reasources when ur working legit on any normal map. I need to find the fastest way without cheating

How do u speed up time

Get 6 workers to a mine and post 3 to 4 more workers around the mine. When you post the extra workers, select them and remember to assign them to that mine else they will just stand and do nothing. If one of the workers offload, one of the other workers you posted starting to dig. That gives you a constant gathering of resources. Belief me, It save time.

I'd also like to know how to speed up time.
The need of it came to mind when I started to play this game again.

The fastest way to gather resources without using cheats is to take advantage of a glitch. You may see this as cheating, but for everyone without conscience:

(Need to be at "Atomic" Epoch (Epoch 10, World War I))
Build some Engineer (for example 5), select them all and send them with a right click to a resourcefield (testet with stone and gold). Do not send them one by one, this doesn't work. If they not want to go, add a citizen to your selection and send them again. Place a settlement next to the resourcefield (1 Block space between settlement and resourcefield).

Advantage: You get really fast some resources.
Disadvantage: You can not (or only limited) profit from capitols or citycenter bonuses. Also, engineers can carry only one object at once.


By the way: To speed up the gametime, press "+" on the Numpad or define "Speed = Fast" at the start of a Map.
