Hi all!!

I write from Italy (sorry for my broken english ) and i think SST:TA is one of the best games ever made on this world. The problem is: it stopped to run just on the next hardware generation. Now i have windows 7 and i always kept my original copy of SST:TA like a treasure. The question is: is there any way to make this masterpiece run again? Thank you very much

There sure is, I too have had to play around with it a fair bit. So I'm guessing with your new generation of computer hardware, you have a new graphics card, which is a Nvidia card of some type. Now what happens when you try and run the game? Does it all go black and when the movies are finished (that run with sound but no video usually when you have the problem I'm thinking), you get this black bar across the bottom and cant really play? So they did come up with a bit of a patch.. its not 100% but it allows you to play. If this is your problem, simply download the patches from the site below. One catch, you might notice that when you're arming up your men (and women) and go to the stats screen, some of the numbers are missing. At least this is for me. I think thats more the Nvidia patch though.

And install the "Full Patch" and then the "Nvidia Patch" (only install the Nvidia if you have an Nvidia graphics card!).

Ps. You are amongst fellow SST:TA fans on this forum! - Let us know if you want to make the game a little more fun.

The issues i have are exactly what you described. Thank you for the links. I'll try as soon as possible, as i miss so much that game and the feeling it gives, you know, the atmosphere it creates and the mix movie-Book that i loved.
Yes i've an nvidia video card (GTX 570, not newest...but it still rocks). My game, now, is in a box into a depot, as i'm looking for a new house
More fun for SST:TA? What do you mean? Ideas for mods? Very interesting, but i can't help you with software mod, unfortunately.

Really, this country is no more a good country to live... I hope in next government or i'll leave this place...

Rank system is as follows:
0 = Private
1 = Lance Corpral
2 = Corpral
3 = Seargeant
4 = 3:rd Leautenant
5 = 2:nd Leautenant
6 = 1:st Leautenant
And the GOOD Part is You can make how many you want of each.....

That doesn't work man, I've tried it with several editors before and the save game just doesn't show up.

Make copy of your save files!
Start new game! Save it and exit!
Then open SaveEditor www.geocities.ws/mykuss/
Run and open inplay.plt file
Change value, Save and run game!

Hi all,

some news: I hope this game is freeware as i read, because i found a torrent for the complete game. The game starts and works without installation but it has corrupted music...at least the music files doesn't run correctly. Have someone the same issue?
