Since the real&legal version was released today, I played it abit.
Interesting game, but I am *REALLY* fumed over it being Console-ish and not having an actual save system.
Imagine my surprise that after playing chapter 4 for hours, doing chores and all that stuff, I quit the game using the End method (which was not supposed to make me lose progress), and next time I came back, I had to redo it all.
Do the devs honestly expect us to redo hours and hours of gameplay every friggin time we get some bad luck and someone catches us in an act???

Well the game just updated to v1.01. Maybe they addressed that issue. You should check.
Well..... no it did not fix it.

Can't find a patch. Gamersgate doesn't list any patch for it, and the main official website is still "under construction", without a forum of any sort.

Steam patched it automatically.
but I also see that SKIDROW released the patch for it as well.

Seems that 1.01 is actually the release version and only contains a minor fix.
And until the devs set up a forum, it won't be easy to pester them to include a save function in their game

Okay. I will probably not play it again unless they fix the save problem.

Just don't think of it as a flaw...think of it as ummmm "ironman mode" like in the recent XCOM game. (Grin)
Or don't think of it as getting caught in the act and needing to reload...look at it as going for the achievement where you need to get caught five times to unlock it. At least Steam has that achievement anyway...
Still, I'm about to try it since my Steam version just finished and is available for play now. So, I'll try it and see if I like it the way it is...if not then I'll set it aside and play something else until it's trained. Either way I am NOT going to pester the staff here since they work very hard to make trainers and I have no qualms with their timelines. They do what they can when they can manage...and it's ALWAYS worth the wait.
