Dragon Age III: Inquisition Message Board  

anybody know the release date for this?? all i know is that DA3 will be base in Olaes ( sorry if i spell it wrong ) & we will not be playing as Hawk or our 1 carecter in DA origin

It's not confirmed, but assumed it's in Orlais. A release date hasn't been announced yet so there's no information on that I'm afraid.

I browsed around and the most I could get was "Late 2013" so it could be somewhere in early 2014 too if EA gives Bioware some "holiday break."

As others have said not much has been confirmed except that it wil use a modified Frostbite engine currently used by Battlefield 3 jointly designed by DICE so the expertise on the engine will be available and that the armour will be iconic but modular and its likely the PC will be human and the cancelled DA2 Exalted Marches DLC will be incorperated into the atory other than that everything else is suggestion/speculation.

rumor has it, its going to be frostbite 3 not 2 as was originality announced as its "foundation". as for date it was meant to be late 2013 but am sure i saw some where quietly that it was going to be delayed till 2014

That's nothing, I waited 7 years for Golden Sun to get a sequel, I still hold a kindle of hope that Chrono Trigger/Cross will get a third someday, but... well, not really, but It's a nice dream.

Still, last I've heard this was pushed back until sometime 2014, TBA. As long as BioWare sticks to its guns and EA itself doesn't **** it up (they will), I'm hoping it won't end up getting canned. But I haven't heard anything in a long time now, so~

Fall of 2014 is the latest news. and 5+ or 7+is nothing for old schoolgamers

10+ and 15+ years for even Fallout sequels and Neuromancer

I just hope it wont be like DA 2. Origins was a must! 2 was more linear and imho they left too manny things to get it out to the market.

Like fallout 3... well... until the release date... you can play again the HD version of DA Origins Even TitanQuest got a sequel !
