Yeah it's kinda like when Square Enix re-released FF7.
Remember that? XD

Well I like it, so there :P Call me old fashioned, but I don't care much for epic graphics or 'HD' visuals. I think story line is more important and the Doom series has always had one of the best. Sure beats killing terrorists to save some country in cod or battlefield
I lost my floppy disks and cd's for doom 1, 2 and 3, so this collective release is awesome

You also have whats called "The lost mission" an extension to the Campaign spawning 7 extra missions if i recall.
To take command, and conquer your battlefields.

Mostly new title screen, older doom's bundled in and mounted flashlight (which now has a duration bar, like in F.E.A.R.). It's also a little brighter, since little kids cried out the original was too dark. The only graphic enhancements are higher resolutions (original supported up to 1280x1024) and motion blur. And that's it. Even the enemy placements is the same.

Hoping people are still talking on this thread even though its four years old, wondering what the difference is between the BFG. edition and this new Doom game that's coming out May 13th? Also did the BFG edition include the flashlight mod or some variation? I remember that being a problem in the original Doom 3, no matter how much up the brightness in the game.

the upcoming doom is more of a "reboot"/sequel thingy to the original doom then a remake of doom 3.. i am not sure if it is a remake or a sequel mind you.
Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.
