As a sort of followup of what PWizard said , but not including problems arising with the trainers/editors used, the next INFO about VPN providers, and risks is maybe interesting to read.

This is true. All traffic routed through a VPN can be monitored by the people running that service very easily. Even secure content since the scenario is the perfect setup for Man-In-The-Middle attacks.
We have received several complaints from people that have been using Spotflux (or other VPN software) to play games before they are legally released in their region. The use of spotflux is causing the trainers to no longer authenticate properly due to changes within the windows firewall, registry and who knows where else. This is a problem with SPOTFLUX and YOUR PC, not our servers. The accounts have NOT been banned and there is nothing we can do on our end to fix it. You may have to reinstall Windows in order to make the trainers work again. You have been warned.

Yikes! Sounds like the SPOTFLUX program is one of those traps you never know you fell into if it effects things that much.
Doesn't Microsoft have a program for running out of location or area based programs? I think it's called Applocal... It is even availiable for download from Microsoft's downloads pages.
And. As far as I know it is stand alone. It does not connect to any servers as part of supporting your program use.
I got it a while back to play some of the Japanese anime games that where not released in the USA and it seems to work just fine for them..
I would recommend trying MS's Applocal program to run the games and programs envolved. If I knew the exact link I would ask permission to post it here but I am sure it can be found on Microsoft's download pages fairly easily.
Hope this helps avoid any more issues with SPOTFLUX..
Postflux's Unauthorised and Unfair Charging
Last year we had joined spotflux, paid for a year subscription and used for a while the service (less than 4-5 months), until it stopped service and we had never been able to get service anymore.
More interestingly, recently I had seen they charged me on my credit card, without any notice or confirmation 30 USD! I didt get any of the services, morever I am charged for no service. I strongly criticise, how can they save my credit card details on their system and how can they deduct any amount they desire not feeling any need to ask confirmation? I want them to return back the amount to my credit card and cancel my membership.which is connected to [email protected] mail address
The CHT cant help you with that, also not really good idea to post email addresses, that are connected to anything you use.
I will advise you to speak the VPN owners.
