Is there any possibility to develop a way to edit equipped items?

It would be nice, but I don't know of anyway possible yet.

I'm just using the infinite enchant option of the editor.
You can get more then enough stats on an item that way.

Only "downpart" is if you enchant your items too much other people can't see them in your equipment slots or on you.

People will never know you got über enchanted gear on your character lol.

Confirmed. As of right now, you can use unlimited enchants and the item wont be marked as cheated and not visible to other players via inspect. Stats are seen on inspect though, so i would recommend picking a ring or belt to enchant to your desire. enchanting a weapon or armor will draw suspicion.
