All trainers on here seem to be for STEAM patches. The retail version from the website has different patches all together.

I like to play with my family on LAN games, and so I have one code activated for 4 computers, no online at all.

Anyway to make some trainers/editors for NON-STEAM versions? Direct downloaded via the Torchlight II website, with the auto downloader has totally different patch versions.

No, sorry. You can purchase the Steam version if you want to use the trainers/editors.

    Just curious.

I'm a lifetime member, been on here since before STEAM came around, so is this how the rest of this is going to go, STEAM only?

Love the site, obviously, so no disrespect, just curious.

Steam versions of the games are the most consistent and have the least amount of variables.

I would assume that them doing steam only saves them a lot of extra effort.

Not to speak for them of course, just an observation.

Actual retail box games are going away. As far as digitial download services go, Steam is the most popular so we will always support it first. After that we will look at other versions to see if it is worth the trouble. When you have a trainer and editor with a combined 50+ options, it is not realistic to have to update more than one version when the game patches as often as this one (and the game is so cheap).

I'd rather support the companies first hand, than to give steam their 30% cut.

I understand that it is a lot of work to support many different version, but it is still a bit sad that there is and maybe never will be a trainer for the PWI version.

guess 90% of indie games wont be supported then sence 90% of them fail green light and fail to pay the bribe fee of steam which is 100 usd
